Prof. Guangming Xie is in Elsevier's list of 2018 Chinese Most Cited Researchers
On January 17, 2019, Elsevier issued the list of the 2018 Chinese Most Cited Researchers， where there are 100 professors from Peking University. As the Director of IBD lab, Prof. Guangming Xie is listed again and this is the fifth time that he has been in the list since 2014.
Prof. Guangming Xie is also doctoral supervisor at the college of engineering, Peking University, and he is director of the intelligent bionic design laboratory. His research interests include complex system dynamics and control, intellgent biomimetic robot, and multi-robot system and control. He has published more than 200 academic papers, Among which there more than 70 papers included in SCI, more than 100 papers included in EI, and his H-index is 15. Besides, he has more than 10 authorized invention patents.

In the Scopus database, there are more than 3 million papers whose authors’ addresses include Chinese mainland and authors are more than 4 million.
