The Peking University Robotics Association was established in March 2004 at the System and Control Research Center of Peking University. It is now managed by Peking University's Intelligent Biomimetic Design Lab. The association worked under the guidance of Professor Xie Guangming, the director of the laboratory. The main purpose of the association is to popularize robot knowledge, pay close attention to the development of robots at home and abroad, and try to solve the problems encountered in the development of robots.
